Mission statement

Children First International started with a desire to provide warm clothes for children in Zimbabwe and became an initiative that is becoming more challenging.

It is still a small independent charity but the desire to help under-privileged children has grown by encouraging and facilitating the development of life-skills and self-esteem and networking to raise awareness amongst children of other cultures.

We aim to:

Help to relieve poverty for children and their communities

Provide and help sustain access to educational facilities

Enable children to thrive in their own communities

Develop and encourage the growth of training programmes for tomorrow’s generation

Seek access to alternative funding source

Build networks between children in the UK and the African continent

Develop partnership initiatives with like-minded organisations
